Man, oh man!! Where DO the days go???

I really apologize to those that check in here for not posting more often of late. Between work and the holidays I haven't made it here much lately. Will try to do a short re-cap. I see I did have people checking :) With that said:

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!!

We had our Christmas on the 20th just to help with all the running. It was me, Hubby, our kids and their kids and my parents. Was great to have the house full. Christmas Day we split the families. We went to Hubby's side first then to my parents that evening. While at my parents, our grandson Jack (turned 3 on the 28th) dropped the 'F' bomb in front of everyone!!! Lord, we shouldn't have laughed but it was soooo unexpected!! My Dad and brother-in-law Wayne just about doubled over from laughing so hard. Kids!! LOL

I've been trying to keep up on my volcano news and movie news also. There has been on going activity at Chaiten, Bagana, Karymsky, Kilauea, Machin, Masaya, Rabaul, Shiveluch, Suwanose-jima, Kliuchevskoi, Llaina, Reunion, Santa Maria, Soufriere Hills, Tungurahua and Koryaksky just to name a few! I also hit my Depp sites for any news of a Public Enemies Trailer. Nothing so far, nada, nilch...zip!! :( Soon. I hope. Maybe one during Superbowl but then I heard one by Christmas too and nobody has seen one. Hard to wait for the movie but it will be sooo worth the wait!!

Then there are the French lessons. Peut-être je devrais dire la leçon française. Quelque jour je ferai des achats dans les marchés dans le sud de France. I love the french language and am slowly getting an understanding of it. I've made some flash cards that I use and I listen and translate songs from Vanessa Paradis' albums. A friend who works at the Univ. of Cinn. sent me some text books and CD's that have really helped. At least I feel I'm on my way to learning it.

In my last post, I mentioned a kitten that we had adopted. Weeeeeellllllllll, she is now Queen of the House!!! Or so she thinks. I call her Rusée, which is the french feminine spelling, meaning crafty, wily, tricky. Hubby calls her brat lol. The grandkids think I'm saying Rosie...so basically she has 3 names :P She plays with anything that moves or doesn't move. She chases the other cats around the house until they've had enough and jump up on something that she can't reach....yet. She literally plays until she just about flops over asleep wherever she stops. Kittens are just the cutest creatures. I promise to get pictures posted soon but their on my laptop at home and I'm sneaking a break here at work he he he...

Ok, time to get back to work. Until next post......
